Special Guest, Colby Stevenson
We are pleased to be hosting pro skier, X-games Gold Medalist and 2022 Olympic Silver Medalist Colby Stevenson!
“I am Colby Stevenson, a 24 year old Free-skier from Park City, Utah. Loving this life of traveling, competing, and skiing pow! When I'm not skiing, I enjoy all other action sports and am hooked on learning as much as possible. Six years ago I was in a terrible car accident that almost killed me, crushing my skull and neck. The short-film "Nerve", shows the incident and moments from the recovery that portray what it took to come back and compete at the highest level in Freeskiing.”
Colby will be joining us for our kids day program, as well as joining us of the evening event where he will be showing his
powerful short-film, “Nerve”.

At the Event
Special Guest, Pete McAfee
We are stoked to have one-legged badass, skier, and father, Pete McAfee. Pete is joining us to speak about his journey to professional skiing as an adaptive athlete.
“Father, husband, adventurer, skier and right leg amputee. Pete spent most of his childhood playing in the dirt and came from humble beginnings. Born and raised in west Texas, to a hard working middle class family, he learned the value of hard work early in life. Pete never let the loss of a leg slow him down, he applied that work ethic to his job as well as his hobbies. His “no excuses” attitude has helped him rack up achievements as a professional big wave jet skier, put up first ever adaptive summits and ski descents in the mountains, and is a professional snow skier who was featured in the Warren Miller film “Winter Starts Now”. He accomplished all of these things while maintaining a full time job as an x-ray tech and raising a family. “

From the Team
"We founded this festival because adventure and the outdoors have created the most impactful experiences for our lives. With this event, we LOVE sharing these stories, and much more, with our friends, family, and The Midwest community.
Our goal is to share exciting and inspiring adventure stories. Our team curates films from all sports including, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, diving, exploring, and more. Come meet Olympians, professional athlete, filmmakers, and new friends!
Our vision is to also merge short films with live music and art to create a more immersive experience for individuals and families of all ages. Also, this festival is a place were we want you to have a GREAT time!
We hope this festival will inspire even just one person, young or old, to chase the adventure. Go after that dream. Set goals in the outdoors and chase them full speed head! Let's celebrate!"
